Each academic Year will commence with effect from 1st Mar and terminate on 28 Feb next year.
Academic Syllabus is divided in to twenty weeks making ten fortnightly sets. Each set is followed by one wider curriculum week. Wider Curriculum Week aims at to review and make up the deficiencies of past fortnight with practicals, academic videos, and relevant co-curricular activities.
The breakdown of all 30 weeks is intimated to parents, cadets, and to all other concerned persons through WhatsApp group of News LCIC Cadet College before the commencement of the academic year. Any unavoidable change is made well in time and intimated to all concerned persons.
Calendar for the academic year, including academic sessions, seminars, competitions, guest speakers, special training sessions, teachers training programs, Spoken English Courses, extra curricular activities and academic/recreational trips is prepared before the start of the academic year. The relevant information about the events is disseminated to the parents and concerned people, in due course of time.
Subject specialists are preferred for each class. Video library, guest speakers, visiting scholars, and workshops also supplement each subject.
Teachers Training, Personality Development, Practical Oriented Teaching, Extra-Curricular Activities, and Good Discipline continue to be our Hallmark.
Time / Periods to all subjects are allocated according to the importance and difficulty level of Each subject.
EXAMINATION POLICY
Each academic Year will commence with effect from 1st Mar and terminate on 28 Feb next year. It will comprise of two academic terms.
Fortnightly Test are held and results are uploaded next week on WhatsApp group News LCIC Cadet College.
After every fortnight one week is allocated to Wider Curriculum / Personality Development Activities and to make up the deficiencies of past fortnight academic pursuits through practicals and academic videos.
A series of fortnightly tests completes syllabus in 30 weeks. It follows the revision sessions by solving past papers of last five years.
Examinations and Tests are the means to emphasise and groom various aspects of a personality. LCIC accords high priority to develop balanced personalities. Therefore the Final Result of each term will include the following Weightage /Division according to LCIC’s Current Examination Policy.

During First Term of 30 weeks 100 % of the academic syllabus will be covered and examined through fortnightly tests.
Second Term will be mostly devoted to make up weak areas, revision and practice tests. Second Term will culminate with academic year annual examination.
Fortnightly Tests will be held during first term followed by revision, chapter wise, half book, full book and past papers of last five years tests during second term.
Personality Development will be graded through two papers marked by the parents in each term. The total sum of two papers equivalent to 50 marks will be included in each Term Examination Result.
Homework and Extra Curricular Projects for Summer Vacations will carry 50 marks each and will be included in First Term Examination Result.
Conduct and Behaviour will carry 100 marks, which will be graded by faculty members. Daily Duty Teacher/proctor checks the students for improper dress, misconduct, general discipline, and other aspects. Five marks will be deducted for one mistake. A student caught in cheating will be penalised by 25 marks out of 100 marks of conduct and behavior. The obtained marks will be included in each term examination result.
Unannounced assimilation tests and quizzes will be conducted through out the academic year.
Examination Committee headed by Vice Principal will be responsible to set the papers in close coordination with Research and Development Team Lahore. The Examination Team is responsible to conduct examinations according to the syllabus and Examination Policy of LCIC Cadet College Kasur.
Annual Examinations Schedule for grades 9 to 12 will be according to the Lahore Board Examinations and will follow separate schedule according to the Lahore Board announcements.
Any change in examination policy will be intimated to students and parents as and when required.
